2. General information

We process personal data exclusively on the basis of the statutory provisions (GDPR (DSGVO), BDSG, TDDDG). In this privacy policy we inform you about the processing of data in connection with our website.

3. Hosting

This website is hosted by an external service provider: Mittwald CM Service GmbH & Co. KG, Königsberger Straße 4-6, 32339 Espelkamp, Germany. The servers are located in Germany. A data processing agreement (AVV) pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR has been concluded with the host. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in the secure and reliable provision of the website.

4. Server log files

When you access the website, information transmitted by your browser is automatically stored in server log files: browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, host name of the accessing computer, time of the request and IP address. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and the security of the website). The log files are deleted as soon as they are no longer required for this purpose. They are only stored for longer if this is necessary to investigate specific security incidents.

5. Contacting us (form, e-mail, telephone)

If you contact us via the enquiry form, by e-mail or by telephone, we process your details in order to handle the enquiry and for any follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR insofar as your enquiry relates to a contract or concerns pre-contractual measures, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries).

Enquiry assistant: The data entered (requested service, location, scope, time frame, description, name, company if applicable, e-mail address, telephone number if applicable, callback request) and any files uploaded voluntarily (e.g. plans or photos) are transmitted to our server in encrypted form (TLS), stored in the website’s database or in a directory protected against external access, and forwarded to us by e-mail. As confirmation, we send a copy of your details to the e-mail address you provided. To protect against misuse, we check the time taken to complete the form, use a field that is invisible to humans and limit the number of enquiries per IP address; for this purpose the IP address is stored only in encrypted (hashed) form for a maximum of one hour. Enquiries and files are automatically deleted after 12 months at the latest, unless statutory retention obligations apply or an order results from the enquiry. Data is not passed on to third parties.

6. Cookies and local storage

This website does not use cookies or comparable technologies for analytics, advertising or marketing purposes. Where technically necessary information is stored in the browser, this is done exclusively to provide the website and its functions (§ 25 para. 2 no. 2 TDDDG).

7. Fonts and icons (hosted locally)

This website uses the Inter typeface and icons that are hosted locally on our server. When you access the website, no connection is established to third-party servers (e.g. Google Fonts).

8. No analytics or tracking services

We do not use analytics tools, social media plugins, embedded maps or videos from third-party providers.

9. SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons, this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” and the padlock symbol in your browser’s address bar.

10. Your rights

You have the right at any time to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing (Art. 21). To exercise these rights, please contact the controller named above.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection of Saxony-Anhalt (Landesbeauftragter für den Datenschutz Sachsen-Anhalt), Leiterstraße 9, 39104 Magdeburg.
