Container installation: what you
should know in advance.
Foundations and ground
Container units need level ground with sufficient load-bearing capacity. Pad or strip foundations made of concrete or a ground slab are common. Each container rests on its corners and usually also at the middle of its long sides. The manufacturer specifies load points and tolerances, and we agree them with you before the job.
Access and crane set-up area
Lorries and mobile cranes must be able to get close to the installation site. What matters is a paved access road, sufficient headroom, space for the crane outriggers and a clear slewing area without overhead lines or trees. We clarify this in advance, on site if you wish.
Building permit and duration
Whether a building permit is required depends on the federal state, the use and how long the facility will stand. Container facilities set up temporarily often need a permit too, for example as offices or classrooms. Clarify this early with the building authority. We align the installation with the approved plans.
What determines time and cost
The decisive factors are the number and type of containers, single or multi-storey construction, stairs and walkways, accessibility of the site and the size of the crane. With the location, scope and preferred date, we will prepare a binding quote for you.

Yes. We plan and install the air conditioning and take care of maintenance on request.

What foundations does a container facility need?
This is determined by the manufacturer’s structural calculations. Pad or strip foundations made of concrete are common. We install on the prepared foundations and agree dimensions and tolerances with you in advance.
Do I need a building permit for a container facility?
That depends on the federal state, the use and how long the facility will stand. Please clarify this early with the responsible building authority. We align the installation with the documents that apply to your site.
